On 23 April 2024, Hellobucovina Travel & Tours organized a dissemination event in the ecotourism destination Tinutul Zimbrului, Targu Neamt. The event gathered over 40 participants, including trainers, tourism agencies, VET providers, local accommodation units, restaurants, and artisans. The presentation introduced the EthAI Tour project, focusing on AI tools in tourism, the project’s methodology, and ethical data usage practices. Attendees received practical insights for applying ethical AI in tourism services, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange within the sector.
100% Hotel Show, Athens – 9–11 November 2024

From 9th to 11th November 2024, TRAVEL2FIT actively participated in the 100% Hotel Show, held in Athens, Greece — a leading expo dedicated to innovation, sustainability, and transformation in the hospitality industry. This event brought together hotel owners, property managers, and hospitality professionals, serving as a hub for exchanging new ideas and forging strategic partnerships. The 2024 edition of the expo introduced a refreshed exhibition concept, emphasizing sustainable practices and personalised engagement, including structured one-to-one meetings. These interactions proved to be highly valuable for promoting EthAI Tour, as the hospitality sector increasingly turns toward ethical digital transformation and advanced technologies.

From 14th to 16th November 2024, TRAVEL2FIT proudly represented the EthAI Tour project at the 39th International Tourism & Hotel Equipment Exhibition – PHILOXENIA HOTELIA, held in Thessaloniki, Greece. Recognised as one of the most important tourism expos in Southeastern Europe, the 2024 edition was marked by an unprecedented international presence, with trade visitors from 41 countries and over 4,000 meetings conducted between hosted buyers and exhibitors. This year’s theme, Tourism Trends for 2025, focused on sustainable tourism management and the optimisation of guest experiences. Against this backdrop, TRAVEL2FIT used the opportunity to present EthAI Tour to a wide and diverse audience, showcasing how ethical AI can help shape the future of tourism.
Over the course of three days, the TRAVEL2FIT private booth welcomed approximately 500 visitors, including tourism professionals, business representatives, educators, and students. The team actively engaged with attendees, offering:
- An overview of the EthAI Tour objectives and its expected results
- A guided exploration of the project website and digital resources
- Distribution of informative leaflets and promotional materials
- Insight into the upcoming Moodle-based learning platform
- Specific sessions dedicated to tourism students, highlighting the project's training courses under development
The participation in PHILOXENIA HOTELIA greatly enhanced the visibility of the EthAI Tour project and enabled meaningful exchanges with key stakeholders, reinforcing the project’s relevance in promoting ethical, data-driven innovation in the tourism sector.
Dissemination during “Discover North-East” Tourism Gala 2024

On 12 December 2024, Hellobucovina Travel & Tours presented the EthAI Tour project during the “Discover North-East” Tourism Gala held in Bacău, Romania. The event, attended by 200 stakeholders from the tourism and cultural sectors, showcased innovative approaches to integrating ethical AI practices in tourism. The project’s presentation emphasized building trust and safety in AI-driven tourism services. The gala included tourism excellence awards, networking opportunities, traditional gastronomy exhibitions, and artistic performances, reinforcing regional collaboration and cultural heritage promotion.
Day of the Entrepreneurship, CEBANC – 13 February 2025

On Tuesday, 13th February 2025, CEBANC hosted one of its most significant annual events: the Day of the Entrepreneurship, an occasion that has become a pillar in promoting innovation and collaboration between education and industry. This year’s edition was strategically focused on the hospitality and tourism sector, aligning with the centre’s participation in EU-funded tourism-related initiatives — with a particular emphasis on the EthAI Tour project. The event brought together a distinguished jury composed of representatives from leading companies and public institutions in the sector. Among them were:

The day served as a platform to evaluate innovative student projects developed within the fields of tourism and hospitality, all while fostering direct dialogue with industry stakeholders. Irida Tase (CDEA) presented the EthAI Tour project, sparking discussion on the integration of ethical AI in the tourism sector. Key discussion points included:
Participants acknowledged that educating both current professionals and VET students is essential to preparing a workforce that can leverage AI tools responsibly. The discussions reaffirmed that future AI solutions in tourism must be designed to foster fairness, trust, and long-term sustainability.
Student projects reflected a forward-thinking approach, touching on topics such as:

Service design and guest experience enhancement
Cybersecurity in the tourism industry
This event not only amplified the visibility of the EthAI Tour project but also successfully strengthened ties between CEBANC/CDEA and key actors in the regional tourism ecosystem, paving the way for future collaborations and joint initiatives.
33rd Money Show Greece, Thessaloniki – 14 March 2025
Atlantis Engineering dissemination
On 14th March 2025, Atlantis Engineering represented the EthAI Tour project at the prestigious 33rd Money Show Greece, held in Thessaloniki. This high-profile, multi-sectoral forum attracts professionals from across finance, technology, and tourism, offering a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange and strategic networking. During the event, Atlantis showcased EthAI Tour, focusing on the ethical application of Artificial Intelligence in tourism education and professional upskilling. The presentation drew significant attention, especially from tourism sector stakeholders, including hotel managers, travel agencies, and policymakers. The discussion highlighted how AI can serve as a tool for sustainable innovation, supporting the digital transformation of tourism while respecting ethical principles. Participants were particularly interested in the project’s educational components and its potential to address current skill gaps in the tourism workforce.
Key outcomes from the event included:

10 to 13 June 2025
Dissemination Event in Nicosia, DLEARN
From 10 to 13 June 2025, DLEARN presented the Ethical AI in Tourism project during the “Digital Education at the Forefront of Innovation” training in Nicosia, Cyprus. The event gathered 16 professionals from education, vocational training, and digital innovation sectors. The presentation highlighted the project’s vision, ethical AI guidelines for tourism, and structured training content. Interactive discussions with participants increased project visibility and fostered interest in future collaborations across European networks.

Dissemination Event in Aveiro, DLEARN
Between 1 and 4 July 2025, DLEARN showcased the Ethical AI in Tourism project at the “Advanced AI Digital Tools for Innovation” training course in Aveiro, Portugal, hosted by the University of Aveiro’s CTEF. Eighteen participants, including educators and digital strategists, explored AI applications in tourism with a strong ethical focus. The session emphasized responsible digital innovation, project outputs, and pilot initiatives, creating opportunities for cross-sectoral collaboration and multiplier events in other EU countries.

Dissemination Event of ITS, "The Open Doors Event"
The Open Doors Event 2025 at ITS provided prospective students and the public with the opportunity to explore the Institute’s academic courses, entry requirements, and student benefits. The EU & Erasmus+ Department participated with a dedicated stand promoting ongoing Erasmus+ Key Action 2 projects, including the EthAI Tour Project. A continuous presentation introduced attendees to project objectives, with particular emphasis on raising awareness of artificial intelligence (AI), ethical considerations, and responsible use.

Malta Tourism Authority (MTA) - 26 march 2025
Dissemination Event of ITS
This was the final meeting organized by the Malta Tourism Authority (MTA) for a K1 project that focused on mobility. That is: Digitalisation & Innovation within the Tourism Industry in Malta through EU Funds: Artificial Intelligence & Digital Skills, Inclusiveness and Sustainable Tourism The participants had one week of training/job experience outside of Malta. The participants were split in two groups both of which went to Rome to following a training program about the use of AI in planning travel itineraries. In this final meeting, the participants reflected on the knowledge and competence gained as a result of their participation. ITS, was cordially invited by MTA, to share the illustrate the EthAI Tour project by means of a presentation. This was held online as it was not possible to attend in person. It must be noted that many of the participants are directly involved in tourism and hence they would be interested in accessing the EthAI Tour training material once this is made available. The presentation was of around 30 minutes.
April 2–4, 2025
Dissemination event, CDEA
The EfVET Tourism Thematic Team Annual Event 2025, titled “Local Wonders: Discovering Rural Tourism Practices”, was held from April 2–4, 2025, at the SEPR Gastronomic School in Annonay, France. This gathering brought together over 60 participants, including vocational education and training (VET) providers, tourism professionals, and EU policy stakeholders, to explore sustainable rural tourism models and foster collaboration within the sector. It aimed to:
• Strengthen European cooperation in vocational education and training.
• Exchange of best practices to enhance sustainable tourism education.
• Development of partnerships and collaborative projects among participants.
An important part of the agenda was the round tables at which several Toursim related projects were presented to the participants in two rounds of 20 minutes. Vanesa Alainez, CDEA Tourism teacher that works closely with Mikel Aldalur, gave the presentation of EthAI on behalf of CDEA. Lately, Vanesa and Mikel taught a specialization course of AI and Big Data in Tourism in which they also use the training unit of EthAI.

On April 10, 2025, the Torre Iberdrola in Bilbao hosted the closing ceremony of the Open Days 2025, an initiative led by Tknika, the Basque Centre for Research and Applied Innovation in Vocational Education and Training (VET). This capstone event, titled the Project Dissemination Day, gathered more than 200 international education professionals to share experiences and foster cross-border collaboration, particularly through the Erasmus+ program. The event was presided over by Jon Labaka, Vice Minister for Vocational Education and Training of the Basque Government who emphasized the government’s firm commitment to internationalization, innovation, and sustainability in VET education. During the event Cebanc presented ETHAI project in two sessions in which high interest was shown by the participants on the outcomes of our project particularly on WP4, Training Content for Ethical AI in Tourism as this training unit is not just timely—it’s essential. As AI reshapes tourism, professionals must be prepared not only technically, but also ethically, to lead responsibly and confidently in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. Choosing Torre Iberdrola—an emblem of sustainability and innovation—as the venue for the closing event highlighted the synergy between technological advancement, educational excellence, and international projection. This event further reinforced Euskadi’s leadership in European vocational training.
