Kickoff Meeting of the EthAI Tour Project Successfully Held in Thessaloniki
The kickoff meeting of the EthAI Tour project was held in Thessaloniki, Greece, at ATLANTIS Engineering S.A. on December 18-19, 2023. This meeting gathered all project partners to discuss the project's objectives, management plan, quality assurance, and methodological framework. The two-day agenda included presentations, training sessions, and collaborative planning activities, concluding with a social dinner on the first day. The meeting aimed to ensure all partners are aligned and prepared for the project's next phases.
2nd TPM
2nd Transnational Project Meeting in Malta, 10–11 September 2024 | Hosted by the Institute of Tourism Studies (ITS)
The second transnational meeting of the EthAI Tour Project took place in a hybrid format on 10th and 11th September 2024, with most partners attending in person at the premises of the Institute of Tourism Studies (ITS) in Malta. DLEARN participated remotely. The meeting provided an essential opportunity to monitor progress, align on project priorities, and deepen collaboration across work packages.
💼 Day 1 covered project management and quality assurance updates, final presentations of WP2 outcomes, and discussions on dissemination and sustainability strategies.
📘 Day 2 focused on the development of the ECVET profile, training plan, teaching handbook, the draft e-learning platform, and planning of upcoming multiplier events and training content. Throughout the sessions, partners shared valuable insights, coordinated action points, and reinforced their collaborative spirit. The meeting concluded with a roadmap of next steps and an upcoming online meeting scheduled for 18 October 2024. The EthAI Tour project continues to advance in promoting ethical AI and digital skills in the tourism sector—driven by a committed consortium and meaningful collaboration.

Third Transnational Project Meeting – Milan, 27 March 2025
On the 27th of March 2025, the third Transnational Project Meeting of the Erasmus+ project EthAITour (2023-1-EL01-KA220-VET-000158840) was successfully held in Milan, hosted by DLEARN at Spazio PIN – Sala Piuma, located in the vibrant heart of the city. The agenda for the day was both ambitious and well-structured, covering key project milestones and strategic developments. The meeting commenced with a warm welcome and registration, followed by a detailed review of the project management updates led by ATLANTIS. TRAVEL2FIT presented the ongoing progress on quality assurance, ensuring that standards remain high across all deliverables. The spotlight then shifted to Work Package 4, where partners showcased the advancement of training content modules. ITS and HELLOBUCOVINA led the session on digitalization in tourism, while TRAVEL2FIT and CDEA discussed developments in AI applications in the sector. Ethical dimensions of AI were thoroughly examined by ATLANTIS and DLEARN.
The afternoon resumed with a presentation on the e-learning platform (WP3 – A3.5) by ATLANTIS, followed by a discussion on the upcoming 4th Multiplier Event led by TRAVEL2FIT. A final session allowed space for questions, clarifications, and alignment on the forthcoming deadlines, effectively setting the course for the next implementation phases. A group photo symbolized the unity and collaborative strength of the consortium. Thanks to the exceptional collaboration among partners, discussions flowed effortlessly, and outcomes were both strategic and promising. The team spirit extended beyond the meeting room — a delightful dinner at “Volemose Bene” sealed the day, turning professional relationships into friendships, all set against the energetic rhythm of Milan’s evening life.

Final Transnational Project Meeting – Thessaloniki
The Final Transnational Project Meeting of the EthAI project took place on 18 September 2025 in Thessaloniki, Greece, hosted by TRAVEL2FIT. The meeting marked a key milestone in the project lifecycle, bringing together all partners to reflect on achievements, validate final results, and consolidate the overall impact of the project. During the meeting, partners conducted an in-depth review of project management activities, quality assurance processes, and key performance indicators, ensuring full alignment with the project objectives. Particular attention was given to the final evaluation results, risk assessment, and preparation of the final technical and quality reports. Dedicated sessions were also held on dissemination outcomes, the project website, and the final dissemination report, highlighting the strong visibility and outreach achieved throughout the project implementation.
The afternoon sessions focused on the finalisation of core project outputs, including the training course content, localisation activities, and the e-learning platform. The meeting concluded with a strategic discussion on follow-up ideas and future cooperation, reaffirming the partners’ commitment to ethical and responsible AI in tourism and training. The Thessaloniki meeting successfully closed the EthAI project, celebrating a collaborative journey and setting the ground for future initiatives.
